Topic: High B12??
My primary dr called me just a few minutes ago (I needed a note to go over to the hospital to have 2 of the things on my 2 year lab list drawn at the hospital since my dr's office cant) anyhow she commented that my other labs already came back and that my B12 was 1288 and that it was to high and that I don't need B12 ever again (I think she said that jokingly).
Anyhow why would my B12 be so high? I am supposed to be malabsorbing? Plus I sometimes skip my liquid B complex cause I forget to take it. So I don't even take that daily. But I do get it in a few times a week per instructions on the bottle, no more no less.
So what else could cause this? Only other vitamins I take are the regular ones, Centrum chewable multi, iron, calcium and protein. Oh and the D3 I take prescribed to me.
Anyone else? It's 2 years post op.
Any input would be nice. Should I worry? I will need to see the rest of the results because I want to know about my other Bs. I don't want to stop taking my B complex completely because we need all the Bs you know.

Have you went to the PS yet? I was wondering if your insurance was going to cover the surgery. I mentioned to my PCP about you being referred for this and he said he'd have no problem in referring me to a PS when the time came to help me get rid of the excess skin! Woo HOo... maybe there is a silver lining out there somewhere. What health ins co do you have? Ok, just wondering, and thank you for sharing this info with all of us!

Girl.....let me tell you about people not wanting to donate to "OUR CAUSE"....for 4 of my 7 yrs in Ar I have raised money for diabetes because my neice is type 1 was diagnosed at age 2 1/2 and is now 14....very important to my family.....ok so I decided to ask one of my regulars to donate to my cause....he chuckled and said overweight people should exercise more and eat less......with that I said.....I used to be 233 and I had surgery to lose weight...I tried pushing the food away and exercising,,,,,,,, at that point he felt like a real idiot.....I have never spoke to him again and refuse to use his business .
People do not know there is a obesity problem.....they all think it is just eat less move more.....It is hard to get strangers to donate to this cause.....it is over look by the more public cause which by all means have effected me too in some way.
Good luck on your adventure.....I only ask for support from those who know me and my struggle. It is so sad too.......
see you saturday

My son was a severe asthmatic with reactive airway disease. I know I bought the pediatric wing at National Park hospital. He was limited and spent a lot of time reading and drawing. He taught himself to speak Japanese and took some classes to learn how to write. He is studying video game design and goes to a lot of conferences. People remember him because he is the 6'4 well dressed black man who speaks Japanese. As for teaching there are a lot of children who struggle with reading and learning the basics. Perhaps helping them will satisfy that desire to teach. This is only a thought.

Hmmm, in the same shopping center there is a Cato's. They have sizes big and small in that store and I've gotten some nice stuff from there before. Maybe that's the store your mom might be talking about?
There's also Burlington Coat Factory in the same shopping center. Sometimes you can find good buys in there.
I've never been to Savers off of JFK but a lot of my friends have and say that it's pretty good!

I'm thinking I will drag my hiney there around 8... I believe I will wear a bright green t-shirt with a cartoony fish on the front and some black athletic capris.
Can't wait to see you all!

I have another question, my Mom was curious if there was still a store right next to TJ MAXX ??? She knows there was when she went, but she said she didn't remeber the name of it and was curious if you knew the name of it?

I appreciate that... You helped me a lot. yes, it is fun when you are a size smaller, but buying new clothes for every size smaller can get a little expensive as my dad has found out.. LOL... Thanks again =)

Thank you! I was looking for any type of clothing store that had cheap clothes... New or used... Thanks for that suggestion, I just may go look at that store =)
