Sybul,
I have not found any except the Body Fortress that mixes in my coffee. We at the Pretend Wal-Mart only have Choc and Vanilla.  I whisk it in and keep on going.  Odd how the cheapest powder Ive founds works the best!!!
Hmmmm, live and learn!

I had a great time!!  Caitlin behaved so well to!  My sister, Melissa, also had a great time!!
The things they had in our bags and at the booths were awesome!!  The eyeshadow and lip gloss.  Thanks to Dr. Bakers booth for all the great true lemon/lime/orange samples and halls samples!  I got a 1 year post-op pin even though I am 2 years.  There was only 1 and 5 year pins.

The walk was so fun, I liked how we went into a circle instead of walking to and from on the same sidewalk like last year!!

The only bad thing about the walk is that I lost my wallet, and was not paying attention when they announced about the wallet that was found.  It wasn't even til we had left that I was looking for my wallet for change to pay for the parking place that I saw it was gone.  The only thing in it was some change.

I'll try to post some pics soon, their still on my phone.

I was out of my protein powder this morning so I tried one of those free samples we got at the Walk.  Gross me out!!!   It turned into a waxy looking lump.  I use Body Fortress super advanced whey protein from Wally world.  It does not clump up like that.  I just use my little hand held drink mixer and no lumps.  Even without the hand mixer you can get it mixed just fine with a small whisk.  It comes in a lot of different flavors too.  My two favorite ones for my coffee are the chocolate and the cookies and cream.

Topic: FOOD FOR THOUGHT
We are all different ages, shapes and sizes, but we do not judge each other. We are here to support each other, while offering some ‘tough love’ when needed. We all have different goals, and realize we are NOT just a number on the scale. We are defined by what’s inside. We are different in many ways, but we all have one thing in common….THE POWER TO CHOOSE! If we are determined to succeed…we will succeed. We are here to motivate each other to THINK and to CHOOSE before ACTING. We are not here to make excuses for our failures, but to recognize our destiny is in our own hands. We are here to discover ourselves, recognize our power, and succeed in meeting our goals of becoming the person we want to be.

In our toolbox, we all have the tools necessary for success and change…..
1. We can choose to get up earlier to exercise, or we can sleep in.
2. We can choose to eat on plan, or we can be defeated by the carb monster.
3. We can choose margaritas in fancy glasses with cute umbrellas, or we can drink water.
4. We can use to use our food diary, or we can ‘wing it’, & wonder why we’re not losing.
5. We can choose to take care of ourselves as well as we care for others, or we can make excuses, wonder why we never reach our goals, and wallow in self-pity.
6. We can choose health, or we can choose insanity (which is defined as doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results).
7. We can choose to make new habits, or we can defend our current habits thereby admitting we have no intention of quitting them.
8. We can choose the positive, beautiful transformation of a butterfly, or we can remain the same ole’ caterpillar.

How we can contribute:
1. Post, Blog, Support, and Motivate
2. Weigh-in Weekly Each Monday
3. Get Your Ticker Up and Ready to Slide DOWN
4. Use Your individual Power to Choose
5. Share Your Determination and Will to Succeed
6. Recognize that we are all MORE than just a number on a scale
7. Make this journey FUN!

I hijacked this from another site.......shhh

I guess maybe we should all follow these rules....me the rebel of the bun*****luded.

thanks Court....you looked good girl.....next time I see you , you will probably be a tiny little thing...keep up the good work.

break in those shoes in normal wear....you dont want ot break them in on the treadmill or elliptical....just because of the discomfort new shoes sometimes cause. Also make sure you have good socks too.....nothing too thin or too thick....

You might like tanning when you get to where you want to be weight wise. We women cange our minds ya know.

Try those tricep kickbacks.....they do work.....and get on that ball for crunches.....you have to get your core built up ......  no matter what exercise you do or what muscle you are working always hold your tummy in your core is very important to all that you do....walking sitting standing working out.....strong core muscles also take alot of the stress off the lower back because your posture is better......I was taught at a young age that everytime I walk through a door way suck in my tummy.....now it is habit.....I dont even know I am doing it and I have woke myself up in the night doing it.....good rule of thumb.....suck it in!!

I am glad I met you and I am just happy to help.....feel free to ask my anything.

Love ya
Tammy

Tammy, You are my HERO!!! As I have told you that many times already =) Thanks for the exercise tips... I bought some nice New Champion running shoes today, and I plan on breaking them in... I think you looked absolutely gorgeous at the walk, and I looked like BLAH.... Anyways, it was great seeing and meeting everyone, the walk was very beautiful and the weather was just lovely.... I had so much fun.. I won a tanning certificate that I couldn't use because the store was in LR, And I live 3 hours from there, so my dad gave it back to them to re-draw for the raffle... I dont like tanning anyways.... Love yha all...
