Okay, honey, I'm REALLY starting to worry about your not sleeping. This has gone on long enough. It's not healthy and I seriously  think you should see the doctor.

Great advice, Steve. Glad you're going to get out and taking  advantage of this great weather.

I went to the new store, Gordman's today and bought some decorator items for around the house. One was a really pretty centerpiece for the dining table. I didn't make it home...shattered into a dozen pieces in the trunk of the car. Totally my fault, should have been more careful where I put it. Guess I'll need to round up another haircut this week to pay for it. Dang.

White and pasty? No one other than a certain person who is sworn to secrecy will ever know just how white and pasty I am. Tan Towels (a great self tanner, FYI) worked great for my trip to Dallas, but the bathing suit is put away and won't see light of day for another year or so.

Take care, my friend!

Court,

tricep kickbacks......hold the dumbells one in each hand, 5 lbs to start

feet shoulder width apart knees slightly bent

bend at the waist.....

your upper arms are close to your body and you kick back your forearms behind you....hold the weight at your chest to start and kick it back do not move your shoulders and upper arms....

by moving the forearm it is engaging the tricep....which is where we have that flabby skin

12-15 reps and 3 sets if you can use the 5lb weight with no tiring then move to an 8. You will not get a big bulky muscle there....you will tone it and make it less jiggly

look it up on sparkpeople or google it to see it done if you are unsure of proper form. HOLD IN YOUR TUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say forget about how the house looks and just make yourself another latte and go sit outside and soak up some rays.   You wouldn't want your SIL to see you all white and pasty looking would you?

golf? did you say golf?

Well, I haven't been out for a few weeks but am planning on getting out on Fri and Sat.   Can't wait.  I wouldn't want anyone to see me all white and pasty looking either.

Your very welcome Tammy, and Thank you =) I sure hope so, these exercises you have been giving me should help me get to where I would like to be....

I wore them to school today with casual wear =) I am sure hoping to be running in them shortly....

Yes, when I get smaller, I am sure I will like tanning a little better... I get in a 2 piuece around my family at the lake, but am not comfortable enough to be wearing it around anyone else without a shirt and some swim shorts =)

I will for sure try those, although refresh my little memory on how to do those again??? Not the crunches on the ball, but the tricep kickbacks... Were those the ones with the weights that you were saying to do them with a 5-8 lb. ??? Sorry, I get confused sometimes....

LOL =) Wheneevr I take a picture, I tuck in my tummy.... Never heard of doing it when walking through a door, I will have to try that...

I am very glad I met you also, and I look forward to seeing you next year =) I will keep you in touch of how my workouts are going, and I am glad you are helping me... I would be clueless without you....

Love yah too,
Court

Hey there, hope everyone is having a great day so far. It's my Sunday, just me and Baxter home, but all of the widows are open and there's a lovely breeze blowing in. I'm off to do some retail therapy in preparation for the upcoming visit from my two sister in laws. It's funny that we start doing things to get ready for people to visit that don't care how your house looks, but I care!

For instance; I have some white cooking utensils that I think I bought when we moved here 4 years ago. I make lots of curries and the seasonings stain the spoons. They go through the dishwasher, so of course they're clean, they just look nasty. Gary and I don't care, but would I want Martha Stewart (aka SIL Bea) seeing them??  He**** NO!  So, utensils are on my list. Nothing really big, just little things like that to make the place look like we care. I'm sure I've told you (again and again) how I dislike this house, so sprucing it up and getting all excited about it is hard to do. But, maybe after a little of this and that I will feel better about it. Well, maybe

Hope you all have a wonderful day and enjoy the beautiful weather we're supposed to have most of the week. Golf, Steve???

Try mixing it in milk or something first before adding to coffee or cool your coffee down a little.  I tried adding protein to coffee before and always had a nasty oatmealy looking mess and I tried drinking it anyway and even the taste was disgusting.

The best bet is to mix it completely up in something cooler or cold then add to coffee or add a few cubes of ice to cool down your coffee.

By the way I use the wal mart brand of protein.
