and Pam, my feelings are the exact same as yours regarding the Lapband. I don't want anything foreign inside of me, plus all of the adjusting you'd have to do and God forbid it be faulty for some reason or slip! NO thank you!

I have no insurance and actually just created a post asking if anyone could recommend an insurance provider who's bypass friendly. I've had a lot of jerky salesmen talk down to my husband and I'm really disappointed right now. I'd love to stay in touch with you, if you'd like.

I am searching for an insurance provider in Arkansas so I can begin this journey. I haven't had insurance and I am looking for a provider who is bypass friendly, of course. I've had some very rude experience with salesmen calling and telling my husband I may not even qualify for ANY insurance unless I get down to 250 and we've even been hung up on when my weight was brought up. I'm 5'8" 304lbs. Can anyone give me some guidance and share your experience? I really need to find health insurance so I can get started seeing a physician as I know I will have had to work on doctor supervised weight loss for a while. I have no medical issues other than my weight and I've got hip and knee pain all the time, no apnea, diabetes, etc. None of that.
