I have been in bed all day. Its 6:15 and Im outta bed for longer than going to the bathroom. This is some bad stuff guys, hope everyone escapes being ill. If this is any indication to my winter, I think I'll go into hibernation. Mike went and got me a new horse Wednesday and Ive seen him thru the window!!! I seem to want to ride more when I CANT get out there.
Oh well, enough of my whining. Hope all is well, praying we all stay well and healthy!!

I went to the thrift store Thursday to look for sweat pants and sweat shirts to wear around the house and sleep in. I only have 2 pair of sweat pants, the ones I wore pre-op (5x I just can't seem to throw them out) and a pair my sister gave me, but their baggy on me now.
I stocked up on coats throughout the year though. So I am good to go, everything from thin wind jackets (the only kind of coat I ever wore in San Diego, LOL) to a thick fur coat (fake *****hilla from Lane Bryants)

It's sooooooooooooo true!!!!! 8 months ago, I neevr wore a coat, and loved the cold weather... I was always too hot when ever i would wear a coat, so I decided I like to go without a coat... It was during winter too, snowing outside and I absolutely loved the cold weather.... Now I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT!!!!! I forced my Dad to buy me 2 new sweatshirts today, and I am now wearing his Big Carhart Jacket when we go out hunting because Im miserable....
I'm FFFFFFRRRRRREEEEEEZZZZZZZIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!! I guess that's what happens when you lose 100 lbs. of blubber that use to keep you insulated =)
But I do have to say, Its kind of a LOVE/HATE relationship.....

I went to my local Big Lots today and to my surprise I found Sugar Free Torani syrups (vanilla and caramel both with splenda logos on them) only $5.50 each!! So check out your Big Lots and see if they have them to!

Hope your well again soon. Yeah those steroids are terrible. I always gained weight when I was admitted from those IV steroids. What did they say you had? Was it an exacerbation?

Topic: Home again!!
Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know Im home. It has been a long and hard week, but home now to rest in my bed. Came in from school last week, thinking it was allergies, spent my entire weekend in bed and then to the hospital on Monday.
Lungs were full and had to do multiple doses of IV steroids, lots of IV antibiotics and lots of praying.
I went in the hospital on Monday weighing 159 and came out today weighing 170!! I ate nothing extra, didnt even eat snacks, just the food they brought me. GOD I HATE STEROIDS!!!!
Im back to my routine now, w/15 days of oral steroids yet to take!!
Thanks for all your thoughts prayers, and well wishes. I will be sporadic as the meds make it hard to concentrate. Love you all,
