Thanks Susan.That helped a lot. I was wondering what the heck I was crying for when the best thing ever just happened to me. 

I left the dietician thinking things were gonna be one way and then the nurse sent me home a different way... I  no clue when to start my protein shakes again, I feel like I have heartburn and am living on broth and ice chips cause I can't seem to stomach anything else. I keep telling myself it has only been one day and it will get better... but today is just one big old pitty party!

I was going to go see Peaches today, but thought I'd better call KT (her sweet daughter) and check first. Poor thing is still in ICU, now has an infection and can't find the source.

Is it normal to feel depressed? I should feel super happy. Dr. said everything went perfectly. I am in an incredible amount of pain and everytime I start to think about what I should be eating or how much of whatever I should drink I start to cry.... I have read and read and read and talked and thought I was as ready as could be.... but holy crud I can't seem to get a grip on this....  (P.S. I had RNY)

Hi. My name is Nicole.  I had VSG in Mexico last year.  I have been doing pretty good until school started again (I am a teacher) and since then I just haven't done well.

I need to get exercise in, water in and eat a lot better.
Can anyone give me some menu ideas that are quick and easy?  I don't consume art. sweeteners, so sometimes it makes things difficult. 
Tricks for getting exercise in?

I am also in grad school, have a hubby and two kids and have a medical condition that makes my muscles very sore/great fatigue.  Hopefully with med switch last week, I will see some major difference in energy level this next week.

Well, thinking about going on the 5 day carb reducing diet thing for vsg that someone gave me a link to.  I think it might help me get back on track.  I really need to get the last 20 off and tone up a lot!
