Northeast AR, Where are you?

I know several patients who had surgery. I'm getting really nervous as to why Dr. Jones patients aren't more active on the message board. I'm also concerned why the people whom live near me went to Little Rock for surgery. Is there something I should know?

Hello Cyndi I am new this board Dr. Jones in my Doctor in Jonesboro I am getting banded March 27th . I think Dr. Jones is a great Doctor. The first time I might him at a Meeting I knew he was the one to do my surgery. He is very pleasant and good natured. I am on my 10 day protein diet right now today is my 4th day......It is not as bad as I thought it would be ......

It's so good to find another newbee I'm so glad to have someone else to talk to. I was approved by my insurance on Feb. 24th and have been so excited but concerned that Dr. Jones didn't have more current patients participating on the board. I've familiar with Dr. Jones since I'm in the medical field and have heard this is his forte but was starting to get anxious. That's just me though being a worry wart I agree, thought it did an awesome presentation!! I'm hoping to have the lap roux-en-y if he agrees. I'm glad to hear that your tolerating your protein diet. Just think this time next week you'll be on the road to a healthier you. I can't wait to be PHAT and Fabulous!!!

HI, I live in Jonesboro and am one of the few who went to Little Rock to have my surgery. To start with my insurance works really well with Dr. Gibbs in Little Rock and that is why I was refered there by my local Dr. I do have to admit though that once I started researching that Dr. Gibbs seemed to have more experience and I felt was the right choice for me. Good Luck on your choice. Just wanted you to know that insurance may be a reason for people going out of town. I lived in Piggott, AR when I had surgery and found ObesityHelp. I found my surgeon on OH as did many others. I knew of Dr. Jones, but a contributing factor in choosing my surgeon was of course the fact he was in the network my ins carrier was in. If your a patient of Dr. Jones, I encourage you to post your testimonial, but also encourage him to update his info on this website.
