WLS Date Jan.23

Hi All I'm so excited and scared at the same time. I live in ark but i am going to tn for my wls it's alot closer just 50 minutes away. I'm schelduled for wls at Baptist East in Memphis, TN.

Hi Debra, I can totally relate to your mixed feelings! I'm 13 mos. post op and was where you're at back then. Your thoughts and "what if's" will take you on a real roller coaster ride between now and Jan. 23rd! Just know that you've made one of the most wonderful and life changing decisions ever. Life on the other side is absolutely wonderful and being a "loser" can be terrific! What type of surgery will you be having? I had an open RNY, was home after 2 days in the hospital and haven't looked back since. My one and only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I now have my life back! Hi Connie, I will be having lapo RNY. I cant beleive you was out in 2 days after an open RNY good for u. My Dr. said be prepared for 3 days at the most and that laproscopic may not be spelled right but u know what i mean. Thank for the advice. debra
