Information Pleased

I have a friend who needs the gastric bypass.He goes to the Veterans Hospital in Fayeteville.They've said he needs it done.But all he has is medicare.Do you know if there is anything out there that will pick up the balance.He lives in Mo.He is a disabled veteran.Please any information would help.
