Lap-Band on July 1

Had lap-band procedure on 7/1/05 in Little Rock with Dr. Wellborn and am doing very well. I do have a few questions if anyone else has had the procedure and would like to share with me. Thaks! Terri

Terri, How long did it take? HOw much weight do you have to lose? Anything I should know? I am going in for lap band next week. Wendy

Wendy: The procedure took about 2 hours. I hadn't planned to spend the nite in the hospital, but I had a weird reaction, so I came home the next day. I have about 90 lbs to lose and am doing really well so far. I am still bruised, but feel really good. Good luck with your surgery; I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
