Question for friend in need of surgery who has many medical problems in AR...

I have a question for people in AR. I have a friend who is superobese and she has several medical problems going on - congestive heart failure, diabetes, high blood pressure knee and joint problems to name a few of them. She has never been one to go to the doctor if she could get away with it, choosing to suffer because of the fact that she is extremely poor and has a child who is her life...so the kid gets her needs seen to first. But she has finally gotten disability at my urging and this still leaves her dirt poor... The doctor that she is using says that he will not even discuss any type of WLS with her because of her blood pressure and congestive heart failure problems.... Does anyone know of any options that might be out there for her in a doctor that could/would possibly be helpful in getting her in hospital long enough to control her blood pressure long enough to slam her thru any kind of WLS...at this point she knows that is almost her only option for staying alive. Any help or insight with which direction to help her go in for the help she so desperately needs would be appreciated. -Trisha-
