Oh Happy Day! I just talked to Christi at Dr. Baker's office and she gave me an appointment and just a few days later a surgery date. That's of course if my shriink results are OK. I don't write shrink out of disrespect I am just to lazy to look up the spelling for the correct name. Sorry to all that the word shrink my insult. I sm soooo happy and scared at the same time. I think I will go read some more profiles and think about starting mine. Thanks to all for this great site. Everything I read really is both helpful and inspiring. Cil

Just to let you know you made a great choice with Dr. Baker!!!!!!!!!! I had my surgury 11/29/04... I have lost 125 lbs and it is the best thing I could have ever done for myself....... Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sure he/she will find out you are not I have been trying to find someone who is in Arkansas like me. And I found you. I am from Jonesboro. Isn't Fayetteville on the Northwest side of Arkansas? hello....this is my first post on here...but i wanted to say good luck with every thing...i have been a lurker for a long time now...mainly on the mississippi and main boards but since i am going to be moving to arkansas soon...i thought that i would get to know every one here....i am going to be looking for a doctor around little rock or hot springs area....not sure which we'll go to...well i guess that i have rambled on enough.....mckenzie

Priscilla, Great choice with Dr. Baker! He did my surgery on Jan 3rd and I've lost about 105 pounds so far and feel like a teenager again. It was THE BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE! My life is so much better because I can do all the things I used to shy away from. You are going to do GREAT and be SO HAPPY!! Congrats and I'll be sending you prayerful thoughts and well-wishes!
