Isn't anything without trauma. Not that having the RNY surgery wasn't a difficult and scary desicion to make, and having made it' I'm having required lab and other test Dr. Baker requires. I will then go see Dr. Baker in person (finally). All looks like a go for surgery. However today I learn about the DS surgery and they say it is better. Sure hope someone will reply and help me zero in on what I should do. Is there even a Dr. in AR that does it and does insurance and medicare cover it. Why is there all this conflict between the two procedures. TOTALLY CONFUSED! CIL (NiCK NAME)

Out of personal experience, and almost 2 years out, stay with Baker, no matter what!!! He knows what to do and is the best at it IMO. I would never second guess him. Denise Drye 9/29/03
