Looking for Dr. Baker feedback & info on Mericare coverage.
I have sent in my info to Dr. Baker and am looking for surport group. Also does any one know of a Dr. that will file with medicare that does Lapascopic on larger patients. I found one in Tulsa but he wouldn't file with Medicare. Also would like to visit with someone who has had the bladder correction surgery done at the same time as obesity surgery. Another question would be on cost of surgery. Dr. didn't have that info in packet he sent. Thanks
I know that with Dr Baker, if Medicare is the insurance that will be paying for this, that he will not do the surgery if you do not have 2 years of consistent medically documented weightloss attempts. I had done all the paperwork and tests and even had a surgery date, and then I did not have enough weightloss attempts and he would not do it. There is another person here who had a similiar problems.
Other than that, Dr Baker is supposed to be one of the best Dr's for weightloss surgery and his staff were always soo nice to me and very prompt on returning my calls and answering any questions I had.
