I AM AT MY WITS END!!!

OUR COMPANY SWITCHED OUR INS. COMPANYS, WE HAD BLUE ADVANTAGE NOW HEALTH LINK. HEALTH LINK WILL COVER 100 % JUST LIKE THE OLD INS. BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE ANNNNY!!!! FREAKING!! DOCS THAT THEY PARTIPATE WITH THAT DOES THE SURGERY, PLUS I DO NOT HAVE ANY OUT OF NETWORK BENIFITS. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. EVERYDAY I CALL SURGEONS ASKING DO THEY PERFORM GB. I AM SO DISGUSTED I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO. JEN

Hey Jen, If they do not have a qualified surgeon in their network, then most of the time they have to allow you to go out of network to get the covered service. I would call them and request that they provide you with the name of a certified bariatric surgeon that is in network. Put the monkey on their back to give you some answers to this dilemma. If they cover the procedure, they have to provide you with a doctor that is qualified to perform the procedure. Just my two cents. Shelia 236/176/125??

well i did that, they told me i would have to give them a name and they could tell me if they cover them or not. well i was on here reading and people had laft nukbers of two surgeopns and i called them to see if wither of them were covered, and it is a mircle that i finally found one. woo hoo i could not believe it, it is farther than i wanted to travel, bcs my hubby, or family can not be there with me, but it is going to be ok, all i see is the future and my health. i can do it alone i will be ok. sooooo my surgeon will be dr mark gibbs. Does anyone know of him. what do you think of him? I go to the siminar next week on the 17th. i am excited. thanks jenni
