Help needed

I am new here. I am also in search of a surgeon for the Lap band surgery. I live in Jonesboro and there is one surgeon here that does it but he doesnt accept Medicare patients for this surgery. Medicare is my only source of payment. I have been looking for a doctor in either Memphis or Little Rock. Memphis is closer but I think I'd rather go to Little Rock. Im really not sure what to do. Any help is appreciated. Lisa

Lisa, Call Dr. Wellborn in LIttle rock...501-663-9600 ext 111 and talk to Cindi. I know he does the Lap Band, but I'm not sure about Medicare. Tell Cindi that Cathi sent you. I met Dr. Wellborn yesterday and he's a super man. I can't wait to have my surgery. Let me know how it goes! Cathi

Lisa, I was going to have Lap, but my ins. quit paying for it in dec. So I am having the open RNY. Let me know if he will be able to help you. I had to reschedule my surgery from Feb 24, to March 10. Good Luck Cathi
