WLS Support Group meeting at Baptist last night...

in case any of the folks that were at the meeting last night read this board, I just wanted to say it was a pleasure getting to talk with you all last night. As the person who has had the most recent surgery, I know I was full of questions and concerns. Thanks to you all for your encouragement and ideas for protein products and diet options. Also, thanks for setting my mind at ease about the recent pain I was having in my incision. Now I see the importance of support groups, even when the leader doesn't show! Also, thanks Steve for the phone call last night. It was great talking with you...your encouragement really helps! Karen

Hey Karen, I have not gone to a Baptist meeting in a really long time. Could you please give me the date and time of the meeting now. It use to be at 6:00, and I think the second thursday of each month. I am not sure, but I would like to make the next meeting. I am glad you are feeling better. The next Baptist meeting is February 10th at 6pm in Dining Room 3 at Baptist Hospital. The meetings are the 2nd Thursday of each month for the entire 2005 year. I won't be at the February 10th meeting (working out of town) but I am going to really try to make most of these. Thanks for the well wishes...I am feeling great and so glad to be a loser! Karen
