Consult day is tomorrow!

I am sooooo ready for my consult so we can get the ball rolling! My surgery date is drawing closer and closer. I haven't really started getting nervous yet...but that could be because I am headed to Mexico on Sunday for the Christmas holiday and I'm too excited to be nervous! I quit drinking diet coke 2 weeks ago and let me tell you, I MISS THEM! But, I knew it would be better to quit that far out than the day before surgery! I'm sure Dr. Baker would not have liked that! Anyway, I am looking for others having surgery at Baptist the first week of January. My surgery is January 3rd so I am really getting close! If anyone will be in the hospital with me during that time, post it so we can walk the halls together!

Hi Karen, I'm having my surgery at baptist too, but not until the 7th. You will probably be going home by then. I'm a diet coke aholic too and I have cut back to one a day now. I'm going to go cold turkey after Christmas. I'm really trying to drink a lot of water and I found a 64 oz. mug I take to work with me everyday. I hope all goes well for you and keep us updated on your progress...I'll try to do the same. Charlene

Congrats to both of u!!! I will sure be thinking about u on Jan.3 I hope things go well for u. I am 4weeks post op I had mine done on Dec.7 and have lost 30 pounds. u are in my thoughts and prayers.. jennifer
