Surgery date scheduled at last!!!

Hi, everyone! My name is Lisa and I'm from Conway. I am having surgery Monday, December 20 at St. Vincent's in Little Rock. My surgeon is Dr. Rex Luttrell. I excited and nervous all at the same time!!! I'll be looking for a support group in the Central Arkansas area, so please include me on any announcements. HappyHolidays everyone! Lisa S.

Lisa, I wish you all the best. I'm also from conway. I used to post all the time and I'm ashamed to say I haven't posted in a while. I'm 15 months out of surgery and everything is going great! I was 354 Lbs. Before surgery and now I'm 131 Lbs. and life is great! I was in a size 4x-5x, Now I'm in a size 2-3. I can't believe it!! Remember to walk as soon as they let you. And sip about 1 ounce of fluid every 10 min. This may sound funny but once they get you done it is hard to drink or eat. But you have to do a little bit. The sooner you exercise the better your skin will be. I will still have to have some skin removed, But it is nothing like It could have been. Oh yea you better ger that belt ready! Hi Lisa, What a wonderful Christmas present! I know you might be sore when you get home, but just think of what the future is going to bring for you. My surgery is January 7th, and I can't imagine any better way to start the new year! I"ll be thinking about you monday and will keep you in my prayers. Charlene
