Theresa, have been wondering how you were doing. It doesn't sound like you're doing good at all. Dr. Oman had told me that she would never consider reversing the surgery because it was a major major thing. But it sounds like you need some kind of help. Are you having to go to Florida to have the opening stretched? Cannot imagine all you are going thru. I have finally found a protien drink I can get down but can only do a little of it and my hair is coming out but between what little protien I am drinking and a shampoo treatment called Nixoin from the beauty salon I think the hair loss has slowed down. I've lost 90 pounds and feel good. I am having problems with potassium but I've always had trouble with that since taking Lasix for years.
Drop me a line and let me know how you are doing. Email at home is [email protected] or call.
By the way are you kin to Sandy Reed who works at Latco in Lincoln? She works with my husband and they keep comparing notes with someone in her family who has had this surgery and not doing good.
Take care!

Theresa,
I am so sorry to hear that you are not doing well. As for a revision, when I went to my consult with the bariatric clinic at St. Vincent's, in Little Rock, Dr. Ozment did say that he has done one. I dont know if this helps, but it might help to get a second opion from Dr. Ozment, Dr. Luttrell, or Dr. Gibbs. (they all work together at the clinic there). Dr. Ozment is the head doctor and might have the most expierence. Take care and I will keep you in my prayers.

I recommend that you contact Dr. John W. Baker. I am positive he can help you. When I went to my consult for my surgery, he spoke about other doctor's patients who had come to him for revisions. It's worth a phone call, anyway. He is located on the Baptist Hospital Campus. His number is 501-221-9175, and his website is www.obesity-surgery.net
Hope you get some relief soon!
