Dr. Bruner/Hot Springs

Well, had an appointment with Dr. BRuner for Monday, but guess what, his office called on Friday and left a message cancelling my appt. She said that Dr. Bruner has decided not to do this surgery any longer. GO FIGURE! Oh well, still have an appt on Dec 14th with Dr. Campbell. Anyone who has used him, please reply. Was told that I had to do another sleep study, last done in 1996, been on CPAP ever since. CAnnot understand need for another test, but whatever the good doctor says! through more hoops!

Hi Patricia..... I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Dr. Campbell is no good in my book. He's errogant and very careless with his patients. I happen to work for a group of surgeons, and get to hear ALL the highs and lows of the surgery world around here in Hot Springs. I am going to Little Rock for my own surgery if that tells you anything. Dr. Campbell has been in front of the disciplinary committee at one of the hospitals in the past, and has a bad rep around here. Some people think he's a great surgeon, but I certainly wouldn't take any chances with his history. There are several docs in Little Rock who have done WAY more of these procedures than Dr. Campbell. Dr.Ron Kaler or Dr. Mark Rogers are better choices if you really need Hot Springs. If you use him (Campbell), be cautious. Good Luck in your journey... Kristie Surg Dec 13th Dr. Gibbs, Little Rock

I applaud your willingness to respond on an open forum in regards to a surgeon, especially when it is not very flattering. I wanted to disclose information about another surgeon, but chickened out. Nonetheless, I see that you are going with Dr. Gibbs. I researched the hell out of him, and have been very pleased with his work. Well wishes to you. Tweedy
