Well tomorrow I find out if I even qualify for the surgery. I'm new to this message board only posted 2 other posts. I'm sure most of you are well aquainted with each other. I can tell by your posts that you have a caring and loving group. I sort of feel like I am butting in, but I just need people to talk to who knows what this surgery is all about and understands. I see Dr.Luttrell at 1pm tomorrow. I have no idea what to expect. I'm so scared he won't take me for some reason. I would appreciate a prayer or two. Thanks, Sharon

Hi Sharon, Congrats on your appointment! Don't ever feel as though you are butting in here. We are all in this boat together! I'm still waiting to have my first appointment with Dr. Gibbs. I'm still waiting to hear from my insurance company. Hopefully I will be going for my appointment soon. I can imagine how nervous you are. I'm saying a prayer for you right now! God bless, Charlene

Hi all; Charlene, congrats! Boy, I wish my ins. would approve the surgery, but they quit paying for WLS 4 years ago. my appt. with Dr. Luttrell was great. My husband and I both really liked him, and it took him about 2 minutes to tell me I qualified because of all my co-morbs. Now, just finding a way to finance it. How do you finance your life? I honestly feel that if I have to spend another year bedridden I'll be so weak and my heart will be so de-conditioned I won't last long. We'll find a way, God willing, and I know he is. God bless all of you in your journey to good health, Sharon
