RE: Dr. Gibbs
Hi Pat,
Just wondering...is this your first call? The first call I made, took two days to get an answer. Carrie, his nurse, was very apologetic and assured me she would send my packet immediately. She will set you up with a seminar date when she returns your call. Do you have an answering machine or a cell phone number where she can reach you? Dr. Gibbs does surgery every day, so I know she stays very busy. One thing I'm learning with this process is........PATIENCE!......and that is not one of my best virtues! I took every thing I thought I needed to get the ball rolling when I went to the seminar...that was Sept. 30...I still have not heard from the insurance company. Good luck and if I can help you with anything, don't hesitate to ask.

I know it's frustrating, but Carrie will eventually call you back. I was a little bit different case because I started with Dr.Ozment at St.Vincents and had to switch to Dr.Gibbs due to insurance. Since I had done Dr.Ozment's seminar already and insurance issues were taken care of already I didn't have to start at square one exactly. Don't give up! This is too important. I will be having surg Dec 13 and can't wait. But I won't even be meeting Dr.Gibbs until Dec 7. Good Luck on your journey.

I had surgery in feb 04 performed by DR. Gibbs and I know how hard the wait for that phone call can be, but they will call back to you, after you get your appointment and become a pt of his things are differant but he is a busy man and his staff is real busy sending out info and returning calls and sometimes it can take serval days before they can get back to you unless it's an emergency, just hang in there they will call
