consult with my doctor.......

I finally got a consult. with my doctor... There are going to to a open RNY... I was wondering how many weeks would I expect to be off of work.... thanks for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my surgery 5/14/2003. I was off work 6 weeks. Probably longer than most because I am 57. You will do great. Best wishes and I will try to keep in touch. Carolyn

I had my open RNY on 10-19 and because I have a very physical job,Im planning on staying home 8 wks.It is really depending on your job.Also,I am 9 days post-op and would do it again in a second.Im very glad I did this.Im doing exactly what the dr told me to do and am doing great.15lbs gone forever!!!Good luck and God Bless you.
