Seminar or Support Group in LR?

Does anyone know of any upcoming seminars in Little Rock or near by? Also are there any support groups for those hoping to have, or who have had WLS in the Little Rock area? Thanks in advance!

hi Felita, Dr. Gibbs has a monthly seminar on his wls. You will need to make an appointment with his office. I went to his seminar last month and was very impressed. I took all of my insurance information and medical records hoping to speed up time to get my consultation appointment. So far, I have not heard anything. Carrie, his nurse, will let us know something as soon as she hears back from my insurance company. Have you chosen a doctor yet? I would suggest you call the bariatric doctor's office or check the information on this site to make a decision. Like I said, I was very impressed with Dr. Gibbs and his office staff, but I have heard wonderful things about Drs'. Baker, Luttrell, and Ozment. Good luck with your search. God bless, Charlene

I used Dr Baker and he was great. I had the surgery in july and i am down 61 lbs since the surgery. I live in Benton also.
