What's involved for pre-op testing???

I'm just curious to know what happens at pre-op testing besides blood work. I go for my pre-op on Oct. 5 and then surgery is Oct. 14 with Dr. Gibbs at St. Vincent. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Shelia

It varies by doctor, but I had to have a chest x-ray, ekg, and lab work. He also required a release in the areas of cardiac and pulmonary. tj brown
