Tina I hadn't had a period for 9 months until I had the surgery, then I started while I was still in the hospital. It lasted for at least a week and a half. I figured it was just my body cleaning itself out, since it hadn't done it in such a long time. Sheila

I have always had a messed up cycle, and have gone as long as two and a half years without a period. After surgery, I didn't get mine right away, actually it was four months after surgery when I started. I am over 4 months post op, and am just now having mine, been on it three days and hoping it will go away SOON LOL. I haven't had a period previously since November of 2002.
