I got a ..er.. month?!

I had my consultation with my surgeon's RN, and he said that if all goes well (which he highly expects that it will)...I can have my surgery as soon as the first week or so of September! Originally, I had wanted to have the surgery before I went back to school, but I can't complain. I'm just happy to have a roundabout date! I'm excited and scared out of my freakin' mind. Anyways - I just wanted to thank those who have answered my Q's and supported me thus far. Brandy

Brandy, I'm so happy for you. You will do great! I know what you talking about, Being scared! I was very scared. But everything went great! Just remember to walk as much as you can and sip water about 1oz every 10 min. and chew very well. Hope you got a belt for those britches. Dr. Baker 9/22/03 354/158.5/147

Good luck Brandy. It's amazing how fast the weight comes off. Just walk as soon as you can and get up and around. The pain wasn't nearly as bad as I had anticiapted. Was home on the 3rd day. Keep us posted. Glenn Gay Springdale RNY 5/26/04

Thanks to you both! I meet with my surgeon in about an hour and I'm kinda nervous. I think most of it is just the fact that I can't believe its actually happening! I feel so good when I lose 10 pounds...I can't imagine how it'll be when I lose 100 or more! Thanks again, ladies. Brandy
