Well, I have heard from Arkansas Rehab.

They have accepted my case and they are going to help me. This is what the case worker said today. She said that my file has been sent to the medical review board in Little Rock. She said that that was good news. There was only one other woman ever that she knew in their office that asked for this help and she got to have the surgery and she wouldn't know any reason why they wouldn't let me also. She did say it would take a while to hear from the review board. And they may ask for additional information. I asked how long a while? It has been since March first already for this much. She said she couldn't really tell. But, usually months. I asked if she meant as in a years worth of months and she said no. But ,still a few months anyway. I am not sure weather to smile or cry. Still a matter of hurry up and wait. I guess that is better than no. I guess. I sure hate the idea of them saying no after the wait. Oh rats!! I HATE WAITING!!!! I want to get on with this and live again. I had to get another steroid shot last week and I have done nothing but eat ever since. I feel ravenous and nothing seems to satisfy. Well, later folks. Bonnie, I'm very happy for you. You should be happy because normally they want send it to be reviewed if they don't think it will go through. If you don't hear from them for a while I would call and check on it. Ask your councelor for the number and call yourself. And get them off there butts. Hi Bonnie, I am so glad everything is moving along. I had to wait sixteen LONG months to get my approval through AR rehab, and had to go through four denials and appeals. I sincerely hope your experience with them is better than mine was!!!! Tammy 373/301/160
