1 Yr. WLS Ann. -200 pounds!

6-29-04 HAPPY WEIGHTLOSS SURGERY ANNIVERSARY TO ME June 30, 2003 June 30, 2003 was a start of a NEW life. It has been very fast and REWARDING 1 year! The first exciting thing I must tell you all is I made it to my goal - 200 pounds in 1 year.I am VERY happy and proud of this accomplishment.I tell you when I look back I don't even believe how big I was and how much I was missing in life.I am truly enjoying my NEW life at a SIZE 10/12 YIPPEE.I have never in my adult life been this small. All I can say is I have been truly bless and it's a GOD thing!

CONGRATULATIONS Janine!!!! You are truly an inspiration to us "heavy weights." I'm down 60 pounds with 200 more lbs to go........shee**** seems like such a lofty and unobtainable goal, but I'm gonna make it, I just know I am! Can you share any secrets as to how you lost 200 lbs in just one year???? Please help a girl out! I'd love to follow in your footsteps! Shelli

Way to go, Janine! I don't have 200 lbs to lose but can't wait to hit the century mark! Wow! one year and 200 pounds! That is fantastic. Are you going to have the surgery to remove the loose skin, etc.? I've been exercising and doing water aerobics but I can tell the old belly is not gonna go away without extra help.
