Making progress 6 weeks post-op.......

Hi All, Just wanted to post an update on how I am doing. Lots of good news... My open wound is healing well, infection is gone only 3.5 cm deep. Going back to work next week. ( kinda concerned about finding a way to fit in meds and meals). Best of all as of 4/15 down 45# since surgery, and 69# since starteing Adkins in Jan. Getting back into clothes I haven't worn for a long time. I can even wear jeans again!!! Life is good again and I look forward to tomorrow now instead of dreading getting out of bed to face another day. I think the best thing I did for myself was to research this surgery before having it. It really helped to prepare me and encourage anyone who is considering it to do the same. Cindy N.
