Protein
Hey Glenn..
Just a suggestion from my many travels to support groups far and wide. Seems like for people that have a hard time with protein try and succeed with the Atkins premade protein shakes. They say they are a little more expensive but are easier to ingest..I think when I join you on the other side that's what I'm gonna try first thing out..Hope this helps ya..

Hey, My way of dealing with that is simple.....Beef Jerkey. Just chew it up to a pulp and get all of the goodies out of it. I'm just 3 months out and I've lost 95 lbs. If I don't get all of my protein I get dizy. But the jerkey cured all of that. I use the Sturgis Brand.....18 Grams in just one ounce..... Just don't swallow it till the doc says you can.
AS an early pre op I used sf instant breakfast made with skim milk and heated. It made a great hot chocolate. It tasted lots better than protien shakes. When you get to where you can eat a little more cottage cheese is very high protien and easy on the pouch. Tuna salad is also very high in protien.
