Lap-Band surgery

Hello everyone! I am new to the message board and to ObesityHelp. I have been trying to find out more information about Lap-Band surgery. Has anyone out there had this surgery? If so, would you be willing to share information and experiences with me? Thank you for any help anyone can provide. Linda

Somen people have had successful lap band surgeries. If you look under gallery there is a message board for lap band. Just be aware although lap band is an easier surgery the overall success rate is much less than with RNY. RNY is the gold standard for wls. Many people who have had lap band have to go back and have RNY revisions because they dont lose much or they regain. With RNY it is harder to regain because our internal plumbing has been altered. DO YOUR RESEARCH.
