One Week from today I'm on my way!!!

Hi Everyone! I am soooo nervously excited. I will be leaving this friday heading for Little Rock. My surgery with Dr. Ozment is next tuesday May 4th. It will take us about 8 hrs just to get to Little Rock. Please pray for me that I have a wonderfully successful surgery, and an even better recovery. I am getting up there in years (48 this friday) so I know with your prayers I will spring back just like all you young things out there. My only worry a little is about the long ride home. We are not coming home until the following Saturday and Sunday. Yes, two days! We will take it slow just as many of you have highly suggested. My husband wants to make sure I get out and walk about every hour. I know I will be fine. Thanx again and I love your message board. I think I hang out in here more than I do in my own state board. Brenda, God bless you and take care of you. Please, please be sure to walk, walk and walk. Blood clots can build up so quick when you stay in one positsion too long. Move your legs as much as possible while you are sitting. We all will be thinking about you and praying for you. Glenn Gay

Hey Shelli, Thank you so much for filling me in on everything the other day. You are sooo nice to have done that with both your little ones running around. I sure know you have your hands full. I have met so many of you nice people. I am not sure if I have gotten this kind of support from my own family ever? You know us fat people do have our place. I am the oldest and only fat one of 6 girls. Oh Well, Hey, another new wls friend Alice Ann is right behind me so I hope I can help her out too. She also is such a sweet person. Thank you, just knowing you all are praying for and thinking about me is AWESOME! I will be sure to tell Dr.O and his staff hello for you and that you are doing well.
