Janine,
Hey girl this is Debbie AKA DebDeb. You are doing great!!!! I'm still holding at 194. I seem to be at a stand still. That really sucks! But I know it is part of the journey. I will just wait it out. How are you feeling. How is your tail bone. Girl it seems like there is something they can do about that.
Janine every time I think I going to catch up with you on weight loss you go and beat me again. And you are almost under the 200 mark. I know you are so excited. I know I was. I jummped up and down on the bed screaming, I about gave my husband a heart attack! I went to workout today and guess what happen? I was on the Eliptical Machine. It is a machine you stand up on and kind of run on but a lot diffrent than a treadmill. and it also has handels for your arms. I was going about 3.5-4 MPH. I was very proud then all the sudden about 10 min in to the workout I started having allot of pressure and pain in my chest, I looked and my heart rate was 178. So I slowed down. And I started feeling better. I asked the trainer Just how High can your heart rate without causing a problem. She asked my age and I told her. she asked my health history and I told her I have had Congestive heart failure and Respratory failure in the past. and I did have high bloodpressure but not any more. She said okay try not to let your heart rate get over 152. I said well I just had it at 178 she said how do you feel I said a little tightness in my chest and a little sharp pain not bad though and It is getting better since I slowed down and stopped. She said I better check your blood pressure she did and it wasn't bad 120/80. But she talked to her boss and he came in and asked me a bunch of Questions and tried to get a hold of my Dr. But he wasn't in today. He told me last month they had 3 people who felt like I did and they had to have stints put in. I about ****hough OH HELL no not since I'm finally getting my life and health in order. He had me go to emergancy room. I didn't think I needed to go but I did any way to make them feel better. Well my EKG had just a little problem the doc said he didn't think it was a heart attack. I told him I didn't think so either. He also had Cardiac Insimes blood test done he said if I would have had a heart attack, My blood test would show Hi levels. But they were fine. And he did a X-Ray and it was great! So He said you were working out so how about we schedual a treadmill stress test so Wed. I go to have it done. But all in all I just basically over did it a little. I set at the hospital for 5 hours, But I'm glad the fitness center cared enough to check me out and have me see a Dr. The Dr. did say take it easy and Just rest until the stress test Wed. I don't think so! I'm still going to workout. Not as hard but I don't want to Stop now.
Hugs DebDeb

Hi It's Janine, I have been at the ER all day because last night when I got up to go to the bathroom my heart started to race and beating irregular. I was feeling as if I were going to faint and I had to struggle to breath I felt very heavy. This started a 2 am and the last time I looked at the clock it was 3:34. I guess I fell asleep then and I woke up at 7 am and it started all over. It was worse this time my hubby said that is it you are going in. By the time I call Dr. Baker (spoke to Becky) and hit the road to Little Rock my heart started beating regular Strange because for about 8 hours it was beating at about 130 beats per min. off and on. I tell you I was SUPER frightened. At the ER I was taken in right away. I had an EEG, blood work, blood work done from my arteries to see the gas levels or something to check for blood clots. Well all the blood work came back ok. There are 2 possibilities to what I may have ANXIOITY ( from what?) OR Cardiac Arrhythmias. I will be seeing a Dr. at Baptist in a day or so per dischcharge instructions. That is all I know for now. PLEASE keep me in your prayers.
Was it anything like that? Keep me posted on what is going on. I will keep you in my prayers. May I say you look AWSOME GIRL!!!! I think we need to exchange #'s E-mail me [email protected]
I'm doing fine. Down 34 lbs in about 8 weeks. I got stalled for a couple of weeks, but the scales have started moving again. I'm doing lousy on the fluid consumption, but OK on protein. I'm not hungry very often, which is a wonderful thing! I only gave in to stress eating one day (cashew nuts), and boy was I sick! That was also a wonderful thing!
All in all, I am ahead of where I expected to be at this point and not at all unhappy about the surgery. I can see a big improvement in my mobility and flexibility. My arthritis is better. I am off CPAP and do not seem to have sleep apnea. And my acid reflux is gone. What's to compain about?

DEB,
I stalled around the 180's for a while too. Not a true plateau, just a resting zone until I kicked my new life into gear. I quit the kitchen and became the Frito Lay chick! LOL! No joke, I go into 6 grocery stores a week and put out more chips in the displays and aisle. I hope to have a higher paying route someday. P.S. My hubby works for Hostess, you know Ding Dongs and Twinkies oh my!! Janine, I should read first before asking ?'s . That is an amazing transformation. Also, it could be anxiety attacks, I started having them again earlier this year, but I do have a whole lotta stress with 3 kids, 1 hubby, 2 dogs and 1 bird!! Thank goodness for my soulsister that I cry to.
