Surgery Date

Yeah - after a roller coaster ride on a yo-yo I finally have a firm date and insurance approval. Last week on the 6th the insurance company turned me down. The reason was I had not been in an exercise program in the last 3 months. Get real - what a flimsy excuse. Dr. Oman went to bat and hounded them until they gave in. As of yesterday morning the 13th, I was approved. Yeah! I've purchased my protein and I've got to get the clear liquids in the house. For 2 weeks after the surgery they let you have clear liquids only then you can start the sugar free soft foods like jello, puddings, etc. Now the trip begins. I'm headed for the losing side. I am a little apprehensive but so ready. This has been a battle since January 29th. But I have given a lot of study, thoughts and most importantly prayer to this - so by the grace of God, I am ready.
