Searching for support in NW Arkansas

I am just beginning my journey into a new life. I have made appointments with 2 different doctors in NW Arkansas to discuss gastric bypass and I would love to talk to anyone who has had or is planning on having the surgery. Also would like to talk to anyone who has dealt with Arkansas Medicare concerning this surgery. God Bless and keep you all.

Theresa, I live in Springdale and have surgery on the 27th of this month. There are several support groups around. There is one at the Springdale Hospital on the first Tuesday of the month. Dr. John Kendrick is having one tonight at 7 in his office in the Jones Clinic. My doctors Dr. Lean Oman and Dr. Jack Alston had one last night with 5 patients or prospective patients and 1 lady that had already had the surgery in LR. Theresa, Welcome to our group. We have so very great people here. I wish you were closer one of my other support groups are having a meeting her in Conway Ar. On Sunday 18th at 1:30-4:00. There is also a support group in Rogers at St. Mary's Hospital. It is the 2nd Sunday of every month.
