Anyone have the mini gastric bypass?

I have just heard about this procedure and am wondering if anyone has has it, or knows someone who has? I am still investigating options and this is a new one on me. Thanks for the info! Terri

I looked into it a bit and walked away when I figured out that they don't take insurance. I think it is because the procedure is so new that insurance tends not to approve it. They are doing it at SW Hospital in LR. A team from Missouri comes down and does it. Thats about as far as I got. I went with Dr. Baker in LR and have no regrets. Joy

My surgeon talked about it during his seminar. He wasn't in favor of it. I don't remember specifically what he said but I do remember he did not approve. I have a friend who had it done and she has had some problems - nothing major. Good luck! ~ * Alice Ann * ~
