New to the board

Hello I had VGB two years ago. My date is 3/37/02. I just discovered the new Arkansas forum message board. My name is Sharon Gardner. I am from Hughes AR. I have two sons. One graduates this year! I am 41 yrs. old. I have lost 112 lbs since my surgey and I would like to lose 100 more. I have hit a wall but I am trying to climb it. Thanks for listening. Sharon G. Sharon, Welcome to the group. My name is Debbie Moya, I had surgery on 9/22/03. I have lost around 149 Lbs. I work out a lot. and walk alot and drink water every time I think of it. I was 354 Lbs. Now I'm 205 Lbs. I've hit a platuae. But I'm losing a lot of Inches. I was in a size 4X-5X shirts and 30 Pluse size pants. Now I'm in a large shirt and size 14/16 pants. I guess I've wrote enough. Hi and welcome. I am a CA. but now I am in Ar. have been here 3 years now and LOVE IT! I had surgery 6-30-03 and have lost -170 pounds so far. I started at 381 I am now 211 size 14/16You can do it we are all here to help ya Janine

Hi Sharon--Welcome! I am a newbie from Little Rock. Had open RNY surgery 3/1 and am doing well. So far I have lost 23 lbs. Some really great people hang out here, so jump right in! Joy

hello sharon and welcome to the family. my name is amanda and i live in gurdon, ar. i had open ryn on 9-30-03 and have lost 90 lbs. so far, and at times the weight just doesn't want to come off, so i know where your coming from. take care and god bless- amanda

Hello Sharon, I also am new. I just signed on to the board about a week ago. I haven't had my surgery yet. It is on 4-13-04. Congratulations on the weight loss. I noticed that you had your surgery in Lubbock. I grew up in Hale Center. About 45 miles north of Lubbock. It is a small world. My surgeon is Dr. Baker in Little Rock. Well I will go for now.
