Thank you so much Chelle for looking out for me. I love you dearly. I also appreciate everyone for your comments. I feel that this is most definitely the right choice for me and God has led me to the perfect surgeon for me. Here's a question. Dr's Baker's office told the insurance it would be only for April 5th and 6th and St. Vincent's. Is it normal for it to be only one night? From almost everything that I read it is 3 nights. Does this mean that it will probably be lap.? I am just curious. Thank you again for all of your help. Shelia, Hello my name is Tonya and I am also going through Dr Baker he is wonderful I go for my consult on April 1st and I have my surgery on April 13th have you got your consult date and surgery date maybe you will get to be with me when I go down in April I am from Russellville and I am really looking forward to having this done I have also been overweight all my life and I am ready to start a new life being small well hopefully we can keep in touch take care and God Bless

Thanks Tonya, I am waiting for Kristi to give me a call back right now to try and get a consultation scheduled. I have all of my bloodwork done. The date that they gave my insurance is April 5th and 6th for the hospital stay. I do not know if it will stay that or not. i hope so, but we'll have to see. As soon as I find out on a certain date I will let you know. May God bless your life completely.

Dr B did my surgery open on a Monday and I went home on Thursday. That seemed to be his normal--I was doing very well. If you are having lap, that might make a difference. Dr B is the best! You will do great! Joy -17 lbs/14 days

Congrats on the weight loss. That is wonderful. Are you feeling ok and everything is going well? I pray so. I haven't been told one way or the other of what type of surgery I am having. Hopefully I will find out in the next day or 2.

Aww chickie! You are so sweet. You know I love you and will everything in my power to help you, as long as it is humanly possible. I wish I had seen this post sooner. I've been checking this board but I must have missed it and I'm sorry for that. Only the best for us southern girls!!
