DO any of you have to wear gradual compression stockigs?

Just add it to the list of things I HATE! HATE! about being obese! I got these things yesterday. Also an exclusion on our insurance policy. Was there ever a doubt? Cost me $60 for a pair of knee high ones. I went to try and put these things on this morning. HA! I say HA! You GOTTA BE KIDDING! I managed to get one on but not without hurting myself. How do they expect someone my size to wrestle these thing on? What kind of sick joke is this? My daughter managed to help me get the other one on but I don't know how long this is gonna happen. Not long if today is any example. I also went to my friends house with the cattle scales today. I now know how much I weigh. UGH! 399!!! Tell me again how I don't qualify for this surgery? I can't even imagine loosing this much weight. I have been on atkins for two days now. I feel horrible.
