This is it!

Well, it's finally here. I'm so nervous that the excitement hasn't hit yet. I was up at 4:30 this morning with my brain just a'runnin'. The doctor is going to do an open rather than a lap because of the hospital. I think this is what has me so worked up. I'm not looking forward to the recovery. It's going to be rough. I've shopped, prayed, shopped and prayed some more to be ready for tomorrow. Truth be told, I'm still scard to death. mshell has been wonderful to me. She's definately my angel. Thanks to all for your kind wishes, advice and most of all for your prayers. I would NOT have gotten through this without you. Even if I didn't "talk" to you, I saw what you had to say and you all have taught me so much. See you on the other side. Cheryl

Good luck with your surgery Cheryl!! We will be waiting for you on the "other side". You will be in my prayers today for a safe surgery and a super speedy recovery. I had an open and my recovery time was quite minimal. I had a lot more trouble with my gallbladder surgery 3 years ago than I have with this surgery. Focus on the new healthier you that you are creating today. Take care of yourself and get lots of rest and drink your water!!
