I appreciated your visit at the hospital so much! And the balloons and clown were so cheery and cute! Thanks for your support and your tolerance of my husbands 1000 personal questions! I came home last night and am doing fine. I'm not very hungry, but am thirsty all the time, which is probably a good thing. It will be much easier to track what I am eating and drinking at home! I can't wait to get some semblance of energy and normalcy back into my life. (OK, normalcy was not the right word--I've probably never been that!) Anyway, thanks for the support. May we all lose our way to our goals. Joy

Hi Joy!! I wanted so badly to come up to the hospital to visit you. I came down with an ugly virus and have been in the bed since monday night. Figured you did not need to feel sick on top of going through the surgery, so just stayed in bed!! I am thrilled you are doing so well Joy!! JOY!!! YIPPPyyy! You have finaly had your surgery. I am so excited for you. Just think of all the things you will probably be able to do by this summer even! How wonderful for you and your family. I am so thankful that all went well for you and that you feel good. Being thirsty is probably a good thing since apparently you are supposed to drink an enormous amount of fluid. Continue to get better and keep us informed on your transformation to fit as well as fabulous.
