hello ann, i'm amanda i am 5 months out and have lost 83 lbs. as to date. i used dr. john w. baker in little rock. he is great, i have not had any problems, knock on wood. i can eat anything but don't. i did not go through any depression or anything like that. i try to drink at least 1 protein shake a day, i use the pre mixed shakes, there called carb solutions, i bought the powder and it is so nasty, i don't know why. i do try to exercise each day, in some way, i started out at 274, i am at 191 now. i want to loose about 50 more. there will be many platuaes along the way , i've had around 5 so far and the weight loss does slow down after the first few months. take care and god bless - amanda

Hi Ann, My name is Betty I had my surgery on the 25th of Feb. at Little Rock with Dr. Ozment. Any questions you have please feel free to e-mail me I am on-line everyday at one point or another. I did have a couple of shaky days when I first got home, but today I feel great. I had and open RNY surgery and am truly shocked by not having any pain from the incision. But please any questions you have just e-mail me and I will answers your questions the best I can. God Bless you on your journey! Betty
