NOW WHAT?

I got a referal from my family doctor this morning to go to one of the surgeons that do WLS here in Hot Springs. They said there would be a $300.00 consultation fee. And even if insurance or Ark. Rehab covers it, I have to pay for it up front. $6000.00!!!! They require payment upfront for THAT KIND OF SURGERY! Now what? I can't pay that. I don't even have $300. for consultation.

you might try going to Dr. John W. Baker in LR at Baptist. He is a superb surgeon, and both myself and my husband (two years ago for hubby, march of this year for me) use Dr. Baker, and went through AR Rehab, and neither of us had to pay anything up front. We didn't pay anything at all, actually. Good Luck!!

Thanks Tammy, I was told Dr. Baker no longer accepts Ark rehab. I am going to check out Dr. Gibbs in the morning.
