hello all i am new to this group. i am 39 mom of 3..i have been over weight most all my adult life. i had lost 60 lbs 3 years ago, gaining that plus more back. i am hoping to find a good doctor to have the surgery i have wanted for years. hope to be of help to any who need it from me. angie

hello angie, i'm amanda, you have come to the right place for info. i used dr. john w. baker from little rock, he is the best, he is listed under bariatric surgeons at the left column. i have not had any complications. i am 4 months out and down 73 lbs. good luck and god bless - amanda

There are many docs in arkansas doing wls. I used DOc Lambert in batesville, he is very good. Do your research and find a doc you are comfortable with.

Hi Angie! Welcome! Your gain/loss/gain more story could fit any of us. I have gotten to the point where I am afraid to even try to diet any more for fear of the gain to follow. This is a great place. Feel free to ask questions -- everyone is great about offering what information we may have. Joy
