Hi Amanda I stopped measuring my food also. I eat until I think I am full or begin to have that uneasy feeling. If we were to be "ocd" about it, it would drive us crazy. I figure we should be at about 3-4 tablespoons. Denise

I think we will know if we stretch our pouch or not. I'm down about 60-65 pounds. My appt is Jan 15 at 2:45. I was scheduled for the 8th but had to move it due to a work conflict. I understand the sweets. I can tolerate sugar, however, it is NOTHING like I use to eat. We are on our way to a better life. Have a great New Year, Denise

Amanda, I was talking to a friend who had the surgery at the end of September, she said her Dr told her that we should be eating about 3/4-1 cup of food at a meal. no more and that way you are sure of stretching... I know every dr gives diffrent advice but I am guessing it's about right I eat about 3/4 cup at a time and sometimes feel full before I am finished but sometimes feel like I haven't had enough. I too hope this cycle ends. I am also 3 months out and have lost 60 pounds my weight loss has slowed down and am getting worried. I started at 265 and hope that i can reach my goal before I hit the long Platue. Good luck at your check up I had Dr. Gibbs and we don't have a check up until 6 months out!! Again I am sure that you are fine and have normal concerns about your diet and the amount of food, but I am sure that you are on track. Good Luck. Barb
