Update on Karen Church

I recieved a message from Karen's husband. They have assigned a Lung specialist to her case. She will be on the respirator several more days. They are also doing a Tracheotomy so they can bypass her vocal chords to prevent damage to them. She will be in ICU through Christmas and beyond. This will be such a rough time for her and the family right at Christmas time. So if you all could keep her in your thoughts and prayers it would be much appreciated. Thanks and Happy Holidays Nikki

What happened to her? I will say a prayer for her her and her hubby. This must be so hard for them !

Hello, Karen had Roux-en-Y, adhesions(sp?), hernia repair on the 4th of this month and she's had alot of complications since then. She had a leak so they had to take her back to surgery for that. She was also having problems with blood oxygen, bloodpressure,water on the lungs. Everything has improved for now except the water on the lungs so thats what they are treating her for now. She has been sedated so she doesn't know whats going on. I would say her husband and kids are probably having it rough right now. Just thought I would answer your question.
