hot springs

is there anyone who has had wls in or around hot springs ? is there ever a support meeting closer than an hour and a half?

Stephanie, I live halfway between Malvern and Benton and had my surgery at UAMS. I haven't heard of anyone having the surgery in the Hot Springs area. You really need to go someplace that does this type surgery everyday, not just once-in-awhile, so Little Rock is probably your best bet. Little Rock is the only place I know of that has any type of support meeting, also. Good Luck!

Ladies here's a thought...start one of your own. My best friend and I have in the Dardanelle/Russellville area. She is post-op 3 1/2 months Dr. Baker and I am pre-op Dr. Baker. We started with flyers and word of mouth. We are commited to this even if we never have more than 6 in our group. Currently we have 1 other pre-op and 4 other post-ops. 2 by Dr. Baker and 2 by Dr. Gibbs. ranging from 5 years to 6months out. Good luck in your WLS support group! Angela
