i am so tired!
Me also, but it has gotten a little better. I am going to see if Dr Baker will let me take more B-12 than just the shot once a month. I think it is probably our bodies way of trying to compensate for the healing of surgery, sudden rapid weight loss that is not natural and lack of calories we are taking it. I have to come home in the afternoon and take a nap so I can make it until bedtime.
All post-ops tell me it will get better but I am waiting on it.

Amanda, I am so sorry that I didn't get back with back in September. You are post-op now and I feel bad that I didn't give you the support that you needed. Anyway- about being tired. Make sure you are eating at least 60 gms of protein and drinking 64 ounces of water. Those are both vital to feeling well post-op. I drank at least one protein drink per day, with at least 50 gms of protein, for the first 5 months post-op. That is besides what I managed to eat. I also take the Flintstones Complete, but I take 3-4 of them a day instead of two. I take sublingual B-12 everyday. I have done really well. I am 14 months post-op now. If you have any more questions, I promise I will stop by the Arkansas message board to see if you need anything!!
